Vita 34 is one of the largest and the most experienced umbilical cord blood bank for medical precaution by means of stem cells. It was founded in 1997 by immunologist and Dr. med. Eberhard Lampeter. He saw the opportunities that stem cells could afford us and became a pioneer in the field of umbilical cord blood storage. Since 2015 Vita 34 has been operating and collecting stem cells in the Nordic region, after having acquired the Danish stem cell bank StemCare. .

Experienced chemists, biologists, biotechnologists, specialized physicians, midwives and professional medical/technical assistants have made Vita 34 what it is today. For 20 years we have not only been storing umbilical cord blood, but also set standards with our experience, research and innovations.

In addition to our permanent staff, we employ approximately 35 midwives, nurses and laboratory technicians, who work for us in the Nordic region.
